Many Americans across the country are debating whether it’s worth fixing their old cars versus purchasing a newer model despite an increase in price. Due to inflation and the chip shortage – prices for both new and used cars rose during the pandemic forcing buyers to pay a premium.

Optus, Australia’s second-largest telecommunications company recently fell victim to a data breach. The hacker who goes by the name of Optusdata claimed to have stolen 11.2 million sensitive customer records – threatening to sell the data if the organization did not pay $1M USD in  Monero cryptocurrency.

Another data breach has disrupted the Twitterverse as the social network giant confirmed a recent data breach that left 5.4 million user account profiles vulnerable.

Dekalb, Illinois is at the center of the Metaverse. Literally.  Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram decided to expand their already $1 billion dollar data center by another 2.4 million square feet. The data center will go from two to five buildings and will house servers and computer equipment – becoming just one of 17 data centers powered by Meta in the United States.
